I had a good Day at the Eagle nest. Ozzy jumped off his perch, and started a chase. Within seconds, he was maybe 400 - 500 feet away. I was tracking him and snapped a shot as he was in full dive bomb mode. Interesting, but totally out of range . Several of us hurried down the fence line to see what was happening. Ozzy had snatched an Anhinga out of the pond and brought it up on the bank, now in range to let us all photograph the last minutes of the Anhingas life. Ozzy was either too tired or too wet to carry the body off. so he stuck around for a few more photos. This is near full frame, Ozzy is known for having dark tail feathers and he is muddy. I wish I had a little more room at the bottom.

Good plumage detail and fine focus, excellent timing. The slight diagonal stripe effect of the background is less than ideal but the eagle is super. A large highlight to the right of the eagle could also be easily dealt with if you found this acceptable.

You got some terrific action here. I wish the BG were less distracting.
