I haven't been out photographing birds in what feels like ages...but I did manage a quick session at a new water-level hide rather close to my home. I will be visiting more frequently as my personal schedule allows!

Looking at it now it needs a slight CW rotation

Excellent low shooting angle and nice pose captured, Morkel. You might want to tone down the background colors a little bit.

    Morkel:

Great, low shooting angle, nice action, yes to the CCW rotation.

I agree with Karl, it does seem a bit oversaturated.

I could see several additional crop options here. My first inclination would be eliminate about 30% of the foreground, and a compensatory crop from right and top to balance.

    Personal taste really.

    Cheers

Nice pose Morkel, I like the water drops and low angle. It's a bit contrasty as posted. I would crop this one tighter if the details hold and also try to recover a bit more detail in the blacks

I like the action in the image. The pose of the duck and the flying water drops are great. The low angle is perfect.
I agree with the comments above. It is a little bit oversaturated.
