    Focus is right on, I like the red eye and catchlight. A real challenge to hold the darks and the whites, the brightest parts of the forehead are a bit hot. I do think there may be some more detail to be had on the neck with S/H. If this was my image, I'd crop tighter, the oof weeds and water are not adding to your composition. Good detail in the dark back feathers.

    Nice behavior captured here. Exposure looks good. The reeds in the BG aren't working for me, and I don't feel add to this image.
