Love the colours and textures on this one. The crop is very creative. I might lighten the eye so it has that striking red colour.

I love the brush strokes here but I'm not so sure about the small amount of the back right at the bottom. More, or crop it out?? And a little more canvas on the left?

For me the head with those wonderful white feathers makes the image. I agree with the cropping suggestions by Diane. Your texture choice really enhances the textures of the feathers and it almost feels 3D!

Stuart, the colors are just wonderful. I really like the tonal range on the bird, the subtle variations are a treat for the eyes. Speaking of eyes, as Jackie suggests, lightening the eye would make it pop against the turquoise surround. I also agree with adding more to left, just a little and I think I'd take just a little off the top. Nicely done!

Stuart, I like the graceful S curve of the neck and the contrasting white feathers. The texture works. I agree with the others about a bit more room on the left.
