Very nice gail, especially the eyes, the colors on the chest and those beautiful talons. Maybe a bit bright on the inset of the wing but i always seem to like darker, under exposed shots. Hope to see more!

Just beautiful. Great marks for technique as well as execution! The exposure and sharpness are bot spot on, really brings out the subtle shadings of this bird. With quality and variations like you are all displaying with these Snowy Owls, I wouldn't worry about posting too many of them. Keep them coming.

This would be the most spectacular Snowy Owl image I've ever seen for the reasons many above mentioned.

Definitely a cool and unique pose not often seen. Great stare with the raised wings and the nice look at the talons touching the snow. Exposure and detail are perfect. What a great trip you had to capture such nice shots. Nice work Gail.

Just super, Gail. With all the spectacular Snowy images posted this season, it's hard to pick a favorite, but this one may well be it. I don't mind at all if you keep posting them; I can't get enough.
