    Default Constipated Fox ???

    Red Fox
Taken in a hurry through the window. Taking food from beneath an old bird feeder. Teeth area a bit blurred but was chomping at a fair speed ! Looked in good nick though for the weather we had had.
Not sure aboutthe two bright areas where the sun hit the snow. Left them as easily removed but thats how it was.
    Nikon D200
    Sigma 100-300mm f 4 ( all budget gear includingthe window !!)
Contrast down 1 in camera. White balance auto.
    Aperture Priority
    125th @f8
    800 ISO

    70 % of full frame.

    Thanks for looking .
    Cheers

I like the expression and pose you captured here John.
The overall colour balance just seems off to me. There's a lot of cyan and green coming through in the entire image - most noticeably in the snow but also in the tone of the fox.
A slight adjustment to white balance during RAW conversion should do the trick, otherwise tweaking the "color balance" slider (that's what it's called in Photoshop, I know you use PSP so not sure what you would use).

Thanks Morkel. I don't shoot raw so thats out but I,ve been monitor "playing" just lately too . Is this any better ? Dropped the cyan/green in colour balance. White light adjust made it worse !

Background/surrounds look better, but now the fox seems too red with some magenta?

I love the pose, you seem to have this "natural" situation aspect in your images, as if we are peeping into the animal's world, I really like it, the colours don't trouble me too much but easily fixed. The minor thing that bothers me are the blown highlights in the snow.
