    Default Bewick's Swan

    This is the only Bewick's Swan to appear at my local reserve this year. Less and less are making the journey each year due to milder weather in Scandinavia.
    Not the most exciting image but it is difficult with only one subject. I though I need to record this as next year none may turn up.

    Nikon D7000 300mm F4 AF. 1/1000 sec f4 iso 500.

    Levels and crop in Lightroom. 25% unsharp mask in Photoshop.

    Nice one Iain. As you may know I don't go a bundle on eflections but this one seems to work for me.It's not too enhanced I suppose. Great birds and like a lot of other species- going through strange times. He,s probably missing friends !!

    Quite a nice image, has a quiet feel to it, very wintery. The reflection adds in this case...I could see a bit off the top.

    Very nice soft light, it would look great framed on a wall. Agree a bit off the top would help. Good positioning of the bird left to right.
