Default Still Doing Images for Dave

I took this image several years ago in the early morning fog. Dave had a lot of pictures of the Louisiana swamps and this reminded me of him. I used Nik CEP film grain, then Modern Film - Fuji 100 and then added more grain in CC. Finished with a border from CEP.
    Thanks for looking

I like the composition and colors, but I wonder if I'd prefer less grain in the light area in the upper right.

I really like this with the lone heron and just the colours in the BG Cheryl. I might play around with the hue of the BG a bit, just to see what it looks like with less magenta. I think Dave has had a big effect on you!

I love the composition and blurred background. I think I'd also prefer a bit less noise.

OOOhhh -- I LIKE this. Great light!! I think I'd also like a little less grain in the bright area, maybe lower its contrast a little. You don't want any competition with the heron!

I like how you've processed this one, like others have posted, I find the BG/FG grain/noise to compete with the subject and the wonderful colors. Perhaps masking the bird and using extra NR on the remainder for a smoother look?

I like it! Unlike others, the grain and color are just fine with me. Wonderful composition and simplicity. The only thing I'd change is to clone out or severely tone down, the light line in the water crossing the bird's reflection. A Yummy image.

Cheryl, I like the relatively small in frame subject which appears to be spot lighted. The contrast between the heron and beautiful dark bg works.
