I captured this image last fall at Circle B Bar Reserve in Polk County, Florida. I revisited the image and post processed from scratch. Normal post processing in Lightroom 5, cropped for composition, noise reduction and negative clarity applied to the background.

    Nikon D7000, Nikon 70-300mm F/4.5-5.6 VRII AF shot at 300mm, 1/500, F/8, ISO 250

Nice pose with good head turn and eye contact, Joe.

I like the details, sharpness, HA and composition. My eye is pulled to the gray area in the lower corner in front of the bird. Nice image Joe.

Pretty nice overall, and I really like the extra grass blade with the seeds. Not sure what happened in lower right corner, but looks like processing artefacts...worth retouching.
