    I am dreaming of warmer weather during this harsh Maritime winter. Taken last spring in Florida at 6:15AM
    Can't wait to head back to Florida for warm temps and cooperative birds.

    Hey Gail, I thought that Florida greeting might make you feel like you are here. Great image that I can learn much from. The ruffled feathers and drop of water add to the image, a nanosecond captured in time.

    I like the low angle, IQ, ruffled feathers, water drop, exposure, details and BG. Another excellent image Gail!

    Lovely light and perfect low angle. Love the fluffing feathers and the water drop on the beak.

    This one feels bottom heavy to me, an easy fix by adding to the bottom (which would help with the virtual legs) and a trim from the top to raise the bird up in the frame. Lots of interest with the ruffled feathers and water droplet and the vibrant colors are nice.

    The moment I saw this thumbnail, Gail, I knew where and when b/c I have one so much like this one. Love the combination of colors, the water drop and the ruffled feathers. Terrific light too, and it came together so nicely for you.
