I made this with my iPhone not long after I got my first one 2.5 yrs ago, of my shadow on the concrete driveway, wearing a fringed poncho. I had previously processed it, last using a lower opacity layer of Artista Haiku. So today I ran it through another jixipix plugin called Grungetastic and added a lot of black and green grunge. I had one layer at high opacity in overlay mode and duped it and used soft light mode at 50% opacity.

When I read the title and then looked at the image, I knew it was you wearing a shawl (or, rather, a poncho). I like that the image is both realistic and abstract. The processing is just right. I often duplicate textures and use different blend modes.

Thanks very much Anita! It's amazing how the most simple things like a shadow can become an interesting work of art (at least in the eye of the creator!).

Here's a psychedelic version, using the demo version of Machine Wash. You can do a lot with the demo version if you set it up correctly to only display the free stuff. Fun to play with!!

Hi Judy - great vision to take something as simple as a partial shadow on concrete and create a piece of art. I really like psychedelic version, great colors.

Hi, Judy, I love the abstract look and I like both images though I prefer the OP. It reminds me of an Art Nouveau French poster.

Great abstract Judy, I love the image going from corner to corner, and just the hint of separation in the legs to give it more "definition". Very creative. I might thin out the border just a bit to match the thickness in the fringe. I like the green/black combo a lot.

Judy, another cool edgy, modern image! I think I prefer the OP with the greenish bkgd and those fine horizontal & vertical black lines. That seems to really tie it all together for me. I like the tension of those lines, including the frame, and the tilted silhouette.
