Got this image as a consolation prize for not finding the local Great Grey Owl. Not a setup. Located the Owl the next day. Removed branch that intersected perch, NR on background

Great looking bird, nice pose and perch. I might go for more saturation. I would take off some canvas from the top and left and make it a tighter crop.
All in all it is still a nice shot as is and I wish it were mine.

Very nice Roy, I agree with Karl, a little off the top & LHS wouldn't hurt. Good detail, colour and I like the IQ, the D4 strikes again.

    A very nice consolation prize!
The IQ on the bird is excellent and I love the perch.
    Beautiful colors throughout.
I agree the comp feels off, mostly because the bird is looking to the right. I would take a lot off the LHS and top and add on the right if you have the canvas.
I would also blend or clone out the branch that intersects horizontally with the head and clone out the little white dot on the thrush's cheek. For some reason my eye keeps going there,

Hello Roy, Fantastic shot, a beautiful Thrush. it does seem a tad contrasty but that is likely just my preference, Congrats on a beautiful shot.

Beautiful bird nicely shown. Great colors and perch, a image I would love to have.

I agree with the suggestions on composition, but what a beautiful bird, perch, and background. Nice one, Roy.
