    This is a frame from SoCal back in summer with Jim Neiger and Doug. BG was really nice in Blosa Chica

    You've done a wonderful job of dealing with tonality. The image shows a lot of rich detail in the darkest areas and in the bright highlights. When I've photographed these birds the tiny black eyes always seem to disappear into the black face.

    Were you able to get any shots of the bird dragging it's bill in the water? That is the shot that I hope to get some day.

    Lovely image arash, i agree with Henry and add that the BG is a plus and adds up to the skimmer`s wing brow tonality.

    Love the BG and IQ.
    The eye just pops off the screen which is the real "pearl" of this image.
    Perfect wing position.

    The Bg really sets this apart from most photo's of Skimmer's.

    Stunning IQ and beautiful BG Arash. The quality of eye detail and catchlight is extraordinary, and highlighted feathers of the lower back wing give a very nice separation of the leading edge of front wing.
