this ones for you, Dianne. Just saw your beautiful post on the Avian forum of a vulture. These birds were close in with afternoon winter light, tripod, M, 1/1000, ISO 1000, f/13, 380 mm with a minor crop. I have used this pair with speech bubbles a few times for my Audubon chapter presentations. There gaze at the viewer and one to the other lend themselves to conversation and messages .
I am interested in how to handle multiple subjects and what I could do to improve this image. Eager for feedback....
Nice catch!! I love the extra room and slightly lower contrast in the second post -- and always get a laugh at animals in conversation. Friends of ours years ago had a pair of African Grays that could do phone conversations and TV commercials. It was freaky. You reminded me of one I posted in OOTB a while back. Will try to track down the link but it may take a while. Two crows looking over their shoulders at a huge splat in the sky - one saying "That was awesome!"
Fun poses and story here, and the added room helps loads. Wish the angle hadn';t been so steep. If there were any way to back up and shoot from a little farther back, it would have lessened the angle (although you may have had to crop a little more.)
