I'm interested in seeing what people think of this. Taken in Ecuador a couple of years ago. I have been resurrecting a failed hard drive from my back up drive and have come across a whole host of photos I never processed. I don't remember the reason for taking the photo with these settings but I liked the effect. Seems like a failed multi flash attempt.

    Roy:

I rather like it, and the appearance goes well with the birds name, sunangel.

I would be tempted to clean up the catchlights a bit. Perhaps try a version with the bird moved a bit to the right in the frame.

I love it when I find lost 'gems'

    Cheers

I LOVE it - very artistic!! Would be interesting to bring out a little more shadow detail in the head.

I'd be tempted to add a little canvas on the left (just a little) and take a little off the right, to have a look at the result -- but I might decide it isn't an improvement. Never know till I try.

    I really like this image.
It has a nice sense of movement. very pretty colors.
I would clean the eye up a bit but otherwise like how pretty and different the image is. well done,

I love wing blur in Hummers but have not seen such sharp edges until now, well done indeed.
