What a beautiful capture. Just the other day Artie was discussing whether prey angle is important or the Predator's head angle. You got best of both world here.

Love the colors , clarity, details, sharpness and IQ even after a 50% crop. The only thing IMO is the bird is too centered. If this were mine I would take some off from the right and add to the left.

What a beautiful bird, I have only seen them on BPN. I must agree, You really have a good angle on the prey.

Great look at this beautiful Heron and the fish is a big plus. The exposure and detail look good and the green BG sets of the bird nicely. Well done.

    Thanks all for the feedback.
Here is the revised version, I re-cropped to make more space on the left.

You can tell from the iq of the wing that this is a heavy crop. I would loosed it up all the way around, especially right (as viewed) and bottom. Nice angle on the fish!

Just a wonderful image. The original crop was OK by me, but the repost is slightly better. The colors are just great. I love the way the background colors complement the colors provided by the subject. The S-curve in the neck adds a lot of interest, as do the matching eyes (bird and prey), the open mouth of the prey, and the erect dorsal fin of the prey.
