This redwing, I captured at the same location, as a small flock of 8 waxwings, in Fife, Scotland. Both breed of birds fly over from Scandinavia, to feed on the red berries, which are abundant in Scotland this winter.

They look very similar to our resident song thrush.

Cropped and slightly sharpened in CS6

Nice colours on bird n berries, and good soft feather detail. I would change the crop taking 1 1/2" off the right and adding 1" on left and top. Also would add a slight sharpening and brightness to this fine thrush. Fife area is where my ancestors were from and I hope to visit again sometime soon.

Nice shot! I like the lighting, and the red berries look really cool against the bird.

Nice shot. I think I'd take a bit off the right just in front of the two red OOF berries to remove those bare twigs which keep catching my eye.

Beautiful bird and a nice perch. Well exposed with that white BG. I agree with the crop suggestion you got, plus I wonder if you have a bit more at bottom to include the full berries on the cluster at left.
