Hi there. I'm from the sunny South Africa! Only really got serious about photography a year ago when I bought my first DSLR (a Nikon D7000). Was never too keen about bird photography until I ended up in a bird sanctuary and the bug bit deeply...

I hope to learn a lot from this website - but also contribute some of my own ideas & pics!

Current gear: Nikon D600, Nikon 24-85mm kit lens, Tamron 24-70mm f2.8, Tamron 70-300mm, Sigma 150-500mm, Nikon 50mm prime.
