    That is a very cool layered BG Doug. I also like the dangling feet and detail on that far wing.

    Wonderful landing pose you got here. The BG is indeed interesting and colourful, I just find the rust-coloured band a tad "hard" if that makes any sense. Good comp and I like the bits of vegetation at bottom.

    Very nice! If it were me, I'd look at a version with the darker reddish band lightened (maybe that's what Daniel meant by hard?) and possibly crop just at the top of the lighter band above it, to remove the busier topmost band of vegetation.
