Image taken in Ottawa this past weekend, overcast conditions in the early morning. thank you Daniel for showing me the spot.

Almost full frame, crop a little bid, left right, bottom. No room at top. Could have added canvas, but decided to leave as is.

WB in LR5 to get pure white on snow bank.
    Brightened the eyes a tad
Increased black by +5 in CS6
Cloned out a dark rock next to the hare

I really like the high key effect here, Loi. An engaging portrait, I really connect with the subject through the eye contact and the almost soft focus feel.
I would just bump up contrast slightly using LCE for a bit more distinction.

Hi Loi, great "rabbit" looks very nice. Just wonder if you can add to it's fur between the eyes, in the middle a bit more detail!

i actually wanted to ask for a tad more room on the top, but you said already non left!
    Very nice done :)

    ciao Anette

Hi Loi - nice intimate look at the hare. I too wish there was more room on top and to the left. How much did you remove on the left? Good job on controlling the whites. I would also try to add a little definition to separate the hare from the environment just slightly. It's a difficult balance to get enough detail but also maintain the camouflage feel of the image. Looks like you had a good trip to Ottawa.

You are right, the image needs a little room on top, so I added some canvas after all. Also reduced the exposure just a tad and increased the black point a tad and added some contrast via curves. I'm kind of flying blind here as this is the limit of the HP IPS monitor to distinguish 50 shades of whites.

Hi Loi, great to see you out and about and this is a great subject to shoot, especially in this kind of environment.

If you could I might have gone more to your right for two reasons:
    - To go symmetrical
    - To avoid the mid tones of the body and feet on the LHS using the drift of snow in the FG

I think it would have more impact just with the head coming out of the white surround. Personally I prefer the OP, the RP is for me a little to hard in the blacks. More space all round, with a little less at the foot. Just my thoughts.

Lucky to get so close, they are quit skittish, obviously this one likes being photographed
