    Default Pretty in Pink

From our one sunny morning in Texas. After watching these birds for two sessions in bad light, I knew that they were very cooperative, focused on finding food and not on me. When the locals saw me in my waders, they were sure that I was going to scare them, but I guaranteed otherwise. (Thank goodness the birds didn't make a liar out of me.) I left this one big in the frame as my main empahsis in this presentation is the color and detail. (Almost childlike). Leveled, a tiny bit of water clean up, removed some specular highlights, nik for smoothing the bg a bit, sharpened.

    Thank you.

Spot on Grace! The photo is dynamic, I can see the head swaying left and right with this image.

    600 + 2.0? Very nice IQ!

Hi Grace, great eye contact, and I like the low perspectice. The light looks nice and soft, and you have brought out the detail and colours so well. Sharpness spot on too. Comp works for me.

    Beautiful color on the bird.
I am not as excited about the water color……
Excellent IQ as usual, one would never know this was 1200mm!
