    Default Peekaboo

One of the adults that was playing peekaboo within the troop we came across. The majority were either grooming or the youngsters darting all over the place playing tag.

Needed more DoF for the face and probably could have gone to 0.67 EV as this was backlit and the shade of the trunk didn't help.

Thanks for the previous comments and Morkel for the RP.

    Cheers
    Steve

Hi Steve - not on my calibrated monitor right now but I like this. The title is very apt. Despite the shadows you've still been able to bring out a lot of detail and a glimmer of light in the eyes. I like the vertical presentation and comp with the tree on the left edge very much.

    Hi Steve.

This looks good to me...! You still have lots of detail in the face/chest area, so I'm guessing you think you would have even more at 0.66 EV? I Like the pose and the "i'm checking you out" attitude you have captured. I guess this guys job was to be on watch while the others played...

Steve, very sharp and well exposed image considering the lighting. Framing is excellent and the catch light in the eye is awesome.

    Hi Steve,
Despite your comments, I see great detail in this guy's face. I might be inclined to lose a little of the tree.

Love that naughty look, Steve! Comp and exposure well balanced.
Looks a bit gritty/crunchy compared to your normal IQ - perhaps just a sharpening issue?

(You've been quiet, hope all is well, no doubt travelling eh?)
