    Little owl
Bit different I suppose. I am really chuffed aboutthis one as it is one of the adults using the same site to roost in as they have nested in for three years. First time I have seen this so I might get some winter stuff !! Even snow !
Also really pleased with the results of the D7100 on high ISO setting- never really tried it much-maybe I should have done. This is also using the 1:3 crop facility -plus about 70% crop off full frame.
    Nikon D71009 crop factor enabled)
Sigma 50-500 (cheapo) at 500mm hand held car window ledge.
    2000 ISO 1250th second @ f9
    All settings normal .
    A priority.

    Hi John,
Love the composition in this one and colors. He really framed himself nicely for you and the peak of the roof tops it all off. Lovely color patern on this little guy's breast which sets him off against the red brick. Wish we had them over here in Western Canada.
