    Default Snowy Owl Taking Off.

This individual was perching on the utility wire along a country road, surrounded by
large empty fields full of Field Mice as I spotted a few of them scurrying around.
A local guy told me before that this individual doesn't go after white Mice just natural food.
Besides, he likes to watch them hunt on a natural way.
I told him not to worry, I don't have any Mouse.
    Thanks for looking.

Karl the Mouse bit really tickled me,the Owl looks very well exposed in what I imagine is difficult conditions, perhaps a little more on the right but that is being picky on such a great looking image.

Love the low flyover and the full wing extension Karl. Light snow adds to the nice winter tones. Got a good laugh with the mouse story.

Wonderful fly pose. I love the wing position and the black talons. The BG with snow flakes works fine.
