Excelent light and action here Judy. The green branches on the bill is a nice bonus an love the pose of the wings and the legs. The only thing I do not like is the fact that the head is hidden between the wings but, hey, you got a very clear eye contact and I like a lot. Excelent exposure on the b/W plumage, by the way:)

Hi Judy, nice one! My wish list for this image would also include the head being above the wings, but this is fine. I thought that it needed some sharpening, so here it is. Sharpened with Nik Sharpener Pro Inkjet.

    Default Thanks Dan

One of the members of our camera club has Nik and I have been thinking about buying it also. Your re-post looks better thanks.

The head being tucked between the wings is unfortunate but at the same time it makes for a 'unique' image. The repost really helps the details pop. Great work!

The repost works better. I like the eye contact and nesting material and only wish for a bit more head/wing separation.
