    I captured this last summer and recently revisited it.

    Nikon D7000, Nikon 70-300mm shot at 300mm, 1/2500, F/8, ISO 400, -1 EV, Matrix Metering, post processed in Lightroom 5

    Nice pose against nice looking sky. I would use a little more sharpening on the head.

    Hi Joseph, I like the flow of curves along the top of the Ibis, from the tip of the bill, all the way back to the feet. Great whites, and I like the hint of clouds in the sky BG. I would maybe take a bit off the top.

    Hi Joe, I like the colour palette on this one, the whites of the plumage sit well against the nice blue of the sky. If you have the time, try a Luminosity layer and selectively apply it, I think you maybe surprised in the 'depth' it brings out. You can also apply it as a % via the Opacity slider if you want a 'Global' adjustment if 100 is too strong.

    I have the same lens Joe and I must say that you did an amazing job capturing this flight image with that lens at 300mm. Bravo!
