Default St Augustine - Nights of Lights

We visited St Augustine last week, for the Nights of Lights festival. It was interested, but very COLD!!! as some fellow Floridians might be aware of this last month. I personally think the display was over rated, based on others I've seen in the past, but it was still worth seeing. Of course, the cold didn't help make it fun being there at that time. We did enjoy the area though and plan to go back, just want to check the weather and plan for more comfortable days next time! ; > )

The image is of a square rigger at the marina. I liked the reflection and the lighting of the rigging and the bridge behind it.

Processing was in Adobe Creative Cloud Lightroom and Photoshop, as well as, Topaz DeNoise 5, Adjust, and Lens Effects. The noise level with my Canon 5D classic was higher than I would have liked, but the Topaz did a nice job of removing it. I also touched up some sky areas, with black "paint" where needed.

    Enjoy!

Hi, Mark, nice to see you posting again. Nice to see a night view of the square rigger - I like your treatment.

I like the black bg and the reflection in the water Mark. Not too keen on the watermark though.

Mark, good to see you back, hope all is well. Lovely work, just enough of the ship shows but have to agree with above the big watermark sucketh. The little one in the corner should be enough.

I'm finding it difficult to see this image due to the large watermark. I wonder if you could remove it and repost?
