    Hello guys and gals.
In the last workshop that I co-lead with Don Hamilton we were focused on getting as many species of hummingbirds as possible, well I guess we were able to get a good number but not just quantity but also quality. :)

    For this one I used:

    MarkIV+840+f/8+1/100sec.+ISO1000

    Thanks for looking :)

This is a real beauty, Juan. Love the head angle, showing both eyes.

Hi Juan, like the overall simplicity of the image and composition. A killer BKG, nice work.

Neat concept. The hummer looks great but wish the perch was not so bright. Killer BG. I could see this as a square crop with some taken off both sides.

I am not keen on the bright perch and the leaf competes with the bird...but everything else I like. It is still a very pleasing image. The bird is adorable.

I like the composition. The leaf fills the empty space under the bird. Love the colors, HG and pose. Well done, Juan.

Many thanks guys and gals for the comments, the squaerish crop is not a good one in my opinion and the leaf stays as it is ballancin the image. yes, the perch is too bright.
