Don't have DAP availability so used PS art history brush, blurs, oil paint. (Yes, it's a bit small, but I had trouble downloading to bpn this time. would do so only with small photo.

Used blur, oil paint, art history brush

Hazel good for you to try it w/o DAP. I opened this up in PS, and it was really small and the resolution was 180. Can you resize it at 72ppi. It was also about 1 1/2 " x 2". Was it a large crop?

No, Jackie, it was not a large crop. Cut off only a slight strip on the left to center it. I don't know what was wrong with computer, etc last night. My computer showed it was within the measurements allowed, but the BPN kept coming back that it was too big. I'll try again.

Got it to work today. Used the same steps as last night but the old computer just wouldn't cooperate. See if this is better. I am going to work on a different background that is softer and maybe more Dave style.

Especially with the way Henri is positioned, what looks like an applied rotation motion blur works very well. It's subtle but effective.

Dave did some great things with motion blurs - one of my favorites of his was a guy sitting on a bus bench and it looked like he was sliding on the bench so he would have liked the motion you've applied to this one Hazel.

Honestly not sure how to comment or critique for this theme week... Everything is so unique it's up to personal interpretation.

Having troubles with this one.... Might be more pleasing to my eye if both the pups eyes were uniform.
