Just practicing some flight shots at the frozen duck pond. Much of the pond is frozen over , so the ducks have gone to another spot to feed.
I liked this as I felt the shadow added some depth and dimension to the image. Don't think it would work without it.

Excellent high key presentation. Love the shadow on the snow.

This image surprised me, Joe. I didn't expect much from the thumbnail, but I really like the feel of this one. The shadow works well to give us a sense of place. I love the white on white. I would go a little more pano.

    Hi Joe,
I would definitely go as a pano here.
I wonder if there is any way to make the tip of the bill more evident by decreasing the brightness of the tip.
The shadow adds a nice sense of depth.
    A good solid image,
    Gail

I agree about the shadow but I would leave less room on top and more on bottom if you have the canvas. This works pretty good as a HK, and indeed the bird is beautiful .

Nice high key presentation, Joe. Perfect flight angle and just love the shadow.
