    BG is a bit busy-however i enjoy the action image. What can you/all think would make it more better??

    I agree with you re. the BG. I like the open beak & the partially eaten apple. The image tells a story that I also like. TFS.

    Aside from the busy BG , it is a great behavioral image. Love the fine detail and spot on exposure.

    Don't think I would be concerned about the BG after all that is where the bird is feeding(Apple Tree),the bird itself looks really good ,agree with Marina maybe a bit off the top, just as a matter of interest was the apple natural or placed there, it's an image that I do like a lot.
