Re-worked an old image that I had processed with Topaz Simplify and otherwise modified. I used Moku Hanga, Topaz Restyle, and SnapArt oil paint to create this version.

Maybe it's just me, but it took me a while to see what was in the image when I opened it. I think it might be because of the contrast and the browns throughout the image. I do like the gator-in-the-face idea and the red eyes, but it was hard for me to see that, at first, so I decided to play around. I darkened everything but the gator, and I lightened it but especially the head. Then, I reduced the contrast everywhere and put a heavy green Photo Filter adjustment over the gator for a color difference.

Judy I like the pose, and after I like what Dennis did to create more contrast between subject and BG although I wouldn't go quite as green. Love the red eyes and the low angle of capture.

Thanks for the suggestions Dennis. I'll work on it when I have time. And thanks for the comment Jackie. I agree that Dennis had a good idea but a bit too green.

Ditto what Jackie said, I love the angle and the eyes they do look sinister.

Dave lived in Louisiana and spent lots of time in the swamps so he'd like the gator. I like what Dennis did in the repost

Re-do, I started over from scratch using the same base image. I used Topaz Restyle but pretty much wiped all that out using Exposure 5, Nik Color Efex (several filters), and Portrait Painter at about 50% opacity, last.

I would like this a lot if the eyes weren't red.
