    Ken:

Very jaunty pose, nice catchlight, good bg. I like the pine cone. This image could suggest several alternative crops. How much space do you have around the edges?

I am always struck by how different your robins are than ours (US)

    Cheers

Thanks for your comment Randy. I have lots of space around the subject and my preferred pose is a square but I tried to post it here and I could only get the image to upload at the exact size recommended, which is a landscape format. Hopefully you can advise me what I should do to upload in other sizes in the future. I have this image and many more posted on 500px. The image link is here:- http://500px.com/photo/58927646

Love your Robins, like Randy said, totally different than ours over here. It is a great pose and perch, but seems a bit soft on the Robin, the pine cone and little branch seem a bit sharper on my monitor

    Hi Robin,
I really like the perky pose and the clean BG and nice light.
Your comp on your website is much nicer than this crop. In the vertical crop as per your website I would move the bird further to the left in the frame.
The OP needs a bit more sharpening.
I am not sure why you couldn't upload it . Do you have your settings set at 1400 pixels for horizontal and 900 pixels on the vertical? Max 400KB.
    Very nice perch

Great shot and a even better pose. Love it all. Just needs a little more sharpening for the web. Nice work

    Hi everyone

Thanks for your comments. They are much appreciated.

Hopefully my original image will appear here. I think the original post lost some impact and focus when I cropped to fit the correct size for posting.

Hopefully this will appear in better shape.

Excellent pose, perch & BG. I prefer your repost as I feel it has a great improvement in better composition & better sharpness. But I can see some noise in the BG of your repsot.
