    The image of this cute little swift (correct me if I am wrong on the ID) was taken at Ameenpur lake, Hyderabad, India.

    Sanjeev:

    I like the repeating pattern of leaves and thorns, the exposure is good, although the bright light and light angle gave the very strong shadows. Did you try teasing a bit more detail out of those shadows? They are probably blocked up, but worth a try!
    Is this a spot you can return to with softer light?

    Interesting bird and nice looking perch. It is either a Swift or a Swallow.

    I really like the graduated colors in the BG. You have a nice perch as well.
    The light is a bit harsh and has created some strong shadows. Too bad the bird was not more parallel to the sensor to light up those darker areas.

    Killer BG, perch, vegetation and thorns. I like the pose on the bird. Wish the light had been less harsh. I would try to lessen the brightness on the perch and vegetation.
