    Hi Loi,

This is a sweet image. you immediately see the effect of good light and a nice BG. Sharp with good details. I like the pose but I wish the wings were raised higher. The perch is interesting but I wish it had not blocked the tail

TFS, this one really has a lot going for it

This is one of your best Kestrel images Loi. Arash has covered the points well. Excellent capture indeed.

Very nice image, Loi. All the relevant points have been nicely covered.

If it were my image, I would bring the crop in a bit more on the right, as the kestrel is pretty much centered-up in the frame.

That's, of course, a matter of personal style and preference.

I am late to the party but agree this is a lovely image.
You have a great BG and nice light.
Love the unusual perch- in a perfect world the tail would be in front of the pine needles but still lovely as is,

I might move the bird a bit to the right in the frame and clone out the second dull highlight in the eye.

Finally!! You have been working real hard to get some good shots of these tricky little Falcons and this is your best. That is in terms of light quality, Image quality and BG quality. Keep shootin!!

What a little stunner, and you sure had lovely light. Super pose. I'd try moving your bird a tad to the right to keep him out of center.

Thank you everyone for your comments. It's a good idea to move the bird to the right a tad. I'm on a trip, so won't repost. Loi

Hi Loi, this Kestrel is really providing an excellent source of images, nice work.

I think Arash nailed the critique and summed up well my initial thoughts, looking for good stuff from you in March, no pressure.
