    Default Caspian Tern Diving

Take in Corpus Christi, Tx, On a cold windy, Hazy and overly overcast day. (I have kept the overall overcast feel to the image deliberately )

    Shot with 5D3+ 700 mm Handheld, ISO800, 6.4, 1/5000

Cropped, NR on BG, Some sharpening.

    Amol:

Excellent pose with flared tail, head rotated so we have a good view, and the tucked up feet.

I might crop it to get the bird out of the dead center of the image. First inclination would be a bit off the top, so he appears to have relatively more room to dive into. And perhaps a sliver off the left, as he is angling a bit to the right.

    Cheers

Love the diving position. Would re-crop if it were mine. I like Randy's idea.

Wow Amol, this is not an easy scene to capture. Well done!

I would consider a recrop as well (there are tons of options) and might take a look at a vertical crop with more room on the bottom (if you have it).
