Default Last Snow of the Year

I haven't seen or posted any snowy's lately. From my Ottawa, Can. trip in March.

I added canvas and reconstructed his left wing tip following the instructions on Robert O'Tooles APTATS cd. Still learning the finer points.

    MKIII, EF500, 1/1250, f/8, ISO 400, baited.

Comments always welcome to improve my images.

Hi Mike !!! Always glad to see another snow owl, they are magnificent birds !!!

Love the take off position with the trailing snow, coming at you are always eye openers and did really well on your ps work !!! I like it a lot !!!!

Great details, pose and light. I might remove the bright spots.

    Nice capture Mike,
Your subject looks like he is simply gliding on the take off...:) Like the colors and the background... Good eye contact...:D

Nice shot and position for the bird!

If you did reconstruct the left wing, well, you did a good job.

    Default great shot!

I love these owls. you did a very good job on the added canvas. Maybe its me, but the left wing looks too long?

    I still like the shot.
