Except for David's dead Coot, this has to be the most boring bird of the evening………

Ducks are one of my favorite subject, so to me there is no boring duck image. Besides this is an excellent image, with the nice spotlight effect on the bird, great details and nice water pattern.
    Great work, Dan.

This is one of the very few duck species where the female is better looking than the male imho.
Lovely water, details and eye contact.
You'll have to show me this pond if I ever make it to your neck of the woods.

You know, I was going to say the same thing as Sid! The water is great, but I'm a big fan of this gal. She gave you a nice head turn for the shot. Eye here looks spectacular. Vey nice lighting and the colors in the water are a big plus.

You sure are getting down with the ducks Dan. Literally. Nice low angle and your usual beautiful feather detail. Another keeper.

Hi Dan, nothing boring about this - excellent low angle, and I really like the light in this. You have brought out the finer plumage detail nicely, sharp, and I do like that eye. Keep them coming.
