    I posted one flying towards me earlier.
    This is the same bird, right in front of me at eye level or it might have passed me ever so slightly.

    What an awesome species to get in flight, Karl. Well done. The eye contact is great and the white eye and eye patch draw attention nicely.

    I like the sharp eye and the nice downstroke of the wing. The bird looks like it's flown slightly past you though.

    Great capture of a gorgeous bird.

    Left wing seems to be a bit ahead of the right, indicating it's just past the perpendicular point. That said, the wing position is great.

    Yes, the duck is a bit past you but this is great Karl. Love the detailed eye and the down wing pose. Well done.
