    Nicely done overall, I like the spread out wing pose. The only little nitpick I have, ( I hope this is ok being a newbie, but this seems like a very honest forum) would be the long wall right in the horizontal middle, it is a bit crooked and dead in the middle. A beautiful Heron it is.

    With the wings spread the bird seems light despite it's large size. A very attractive image!

    There is a very faint yellow-green cast to the bird. This is probably natural because of the time of day and the surroundings.
    However, I thought I'd see what would happen if I added a bit of blue. I've reposted it here with the left side being the original. To my eyes the whites of the bird seem more pure and the water is a richer blue.
