I just love this species of duck! Challenging to photograph in flight and beautiful to look at, especially when the light hits them just right.

Hello Doug, I think any Flight of any Duck is challenging to say the least. You really did a great job here, nice background but the detail is especially nice. That little black and white patch behind and under the green on the wing is as beautifull as the green, Grand job all in all/

What's not to like? Perfect wing position with a very slight head turn.
The light is perfect to show the green.
    Tack sharp and perfect BG.
    Love it,

Lovely colors rendered on this duck and an excellent complementary bg. I can guess where this was photographed.
Nice sharpness and I love the eye contact from the slight head turn.
A personal quirk, but I wish the far wing was showing a bit more.

Great flight pose, excellent IQ and matching background. This duck represents one of the best looking duck species for sure.

Great looking Green-winged Teal shot Doug. The wing position, HA, detail and the killer BG all look awesome. The only thing that could be better would be a bit more light/color on the speculums.
You sure got some good ones when you were down here! See ya soon

Not sure you could ask for a better wing position or head angle. I mean, the bird is as parallel to you as possible (you can't see the far wing at all) and the head is tilted the "ever-so-slightly" perfect angle toward the camera. Even though he's flying straight ahead, you still get the sense of eye contact - must be that catchlight.

    Wouldn't change a thing. Not a thing.
