    Default Kingfisher with catch

    Attached Images Attached Images

Took this image at local park in Oct last year.

    7D, 400mm, ISO 800, f5.6, 1/2000s, HH, about 50% crop.

There are some leaves from the plants on the water that I feel quite distracting on the original frame.
I got 6 shots from the sequence, the fourth got the best BG so i blended to this image.
    Thanks for looking, C & C appreciated.

Great flight shot, Eddy. The fish is a definite plus.

must be hard to catch these guys and the fish was definitely a plus. The bird seems a bit soft to me, I would try to sharpen it a little more around the head and tone down the highlight above the eye. Can't comment on colors as I don't know this species. TFS. Loi

Hi Eddy, not easy to get these fast flyers in flight, and you got one with a fish too. Im not familiar with species of kingfisher.

Thanks all for the input. Forgot to mention this is Stork-billed Kingfisher, they are distributed in Indian Subcontinent and Southeast Asia.
