    I like the colors you have going, here. My inclination would be to mask the oil paint effect mostly or entirely off the gator and its wake and to crop some off the bottom.

    Stuart, I think I would back off of the Oil Paint especially on the snout of the gator. I find the tan piece that is sticking up on his back to be distracting and would remove it.

    Love the look of the water, I think you could leave the Alligator completely out of the PP you did elsewhere.
