Two Starlings competing for a perch in my back yard set up recently. Severe cold and snow covering the ground brought them to my feeders. They usually do not seem to like seeds.

I really love this, Joel. The BG is pretty nice and the snow a big plus. Love the behavior/action you captured and how the iridescence in the feather is showing up. Very cool image

    Hi Joel

I like the interexting action in the picture. The colours on the birds look natural even with the added flash.
I think this would also work as a vertical crop.

I love this image, Joel. It's so perfectly designed and you couldn't have captured the wintery mood any better. Excellent flash work. A big winner in my book.

I like the processing, and the use of flash here. seems to have really brought out the color. The snow adds to the shot.
