This is another burrowing owl image from SoCal with my friend Dave Salem. We used Dave's truck as a blind and we could get really close to these cute owls without them paying any attention. This one was actually a tough catch because both truck and owl were moving at the same time!

Truck and owl moving at the same time very impressive! you really have caught the action, looks a little light on my gear ,but a tiny nit on a very well caught shot.

Hi Arash, these are really great birds to photograph and if you spend time with them you cam see they even have their own character too. Nice striding motion and the light tones nicely captured as it's easy to loose some detail. The truck had provided an excellent blind, a friend of mine uses and electric vehicle, for stealth, seems to pay off. Good detail, sharpness and clarity as expected. You like the 1/3200sec setting, it certainly nails the images, great when you have good light too.

    Keep them coming.

Beautiful bird nicely shown in mid-stride. It appears lighter in color to the Burrowing Owls in Florida.

Hi Arash - great detail and sharpness. Even more impressive since both you and the owl were moving. Nice light and stride.

Great looking running shot Arash. The detail in the feathers and the feet looks great. Love the light and the catch in the eye. Nice job getting this . Sorry if I moved the truck as you were shooting , but it looks like it you made the most of it. See ya soon.

Excellent pose. You caught him mid-stride. Lovely look at those talons. Exquisite details.
