    Default Two Blue Tits

    Attached Images Attached Images

    Blue Tits at pool.
Strange how some birds at my pools regularly bathe next to others. BlueTits,Great Tits ,Sparrows , Redpolls etc will often try to get close to Chaffinces or other species but some just won't tolerate them anywhere near
Might be worth doing some serious work on.
I had a bit of trouble with the blues on his one. See what folks think.

Stunning composition. I have nothing but positive things to say about this picture. The quality, clarity and the subject matter are all top notch in my opinion.
I very much enjoyed this shot.

I just love this one! It made me smile as soon as I opened the thumbnail.
I have never seen these birds in real life but to me, all the colors are wonderful.
The DOF is excellent and the two wet, bedraggled birds are tack sharp.
I also like the yellow leaves in the BG and find myself wishing the brown leaf in front of the bird was yellow as well.A minor issue really on a really beautiful image.
    Well done John,

Lovely image John, what beautiful birds. The ruffled wet feathers make is so different.

Absolutely charming, wonderful, spectacular -- and on top of all that I really like it.

There is a symmetry glitch along the left edge, however. I'd just crop it out - not sure you need that much space over there. Otherwise it's an easy clone fix.

Gail- If you have the air fare you can use it anytime !
Diane- I keep missing it. Its a quirk of CZM - it leave an inverted duplicate strip down one sid. Thanks

Hi Johnny, great DOF, and just love the detail of the wet plumage on both birds. Blues look great, and I like the inclusion of the yellow leaves.

    One of your best.

Thanks all. Iwas a bit worried about the colour as I,ve been playing with some software calibration on my LG monitor. (It was a free download !- bit cheaper than a Spyder!) Seems like everything is near enough.

Hi Johnny what a grogeous shot, these bathing shots give the impression that you are letting us into their personal lives - I did wonder at first if it was a tad over sharpened but nobody else seems to think so.

Hi Jon Maybe its the wet feathers. Certainly didn't give itany extra. It may have been the D7100 not the d7000 which means the sharpeneing needs to be dropped in camera with fine detail like this. I get nixed up!!!

This is really a killer image, John. I might take a bit off of the right to keep the birds out of center. You really acquired amazing details and colors here. LOVE IT
