I thought this looked like a happy hen (Ring-necked Duck, that is.) She didn't give me a wing flap; just a friendly quack. Manasquan Reservoir last week. C&C appreciated.

Looks good to me Bill, love the colors and low angle. I have been seeing many Ring-necked ducks in the lakes in the center of Lakeland, Florida but I haven't found a way to get such a low angle.

Hi Bill - she does look happy. Nice pose, detail and exposure. Is this ff? I would have liked to include the rest of the wake circle on the lhs.

Thanks everyone. Yes, Rachael, I have more room on the left. I was torn about that. Including the full wake circle either moves the bird to the center of the frame, or makes her smaller. I'll go back and take another look.
