Frank I like the nice relaxed pose of this bird in it's habitat, the light and the dark areas of the bird look good to me and the bird looks nice and sharp, even though I like the habitat I think I might loose some to the left of the bird, nice shot.

    Nice image Frank.
I am impressed with your camera holding technique- a sharp image at 1/320 with a 2X at 1200mm !!
I would also take a bit off the left and add to the right even though it will center the bird,
    Gail

Hi Frank, well exposed, and I do like the sleeping pose. We normally see oystercatchers around and near the sea, so this is an unusual habitat for me.

Excellent pose and exposure, Frank. Not often one sees oystercatchers in such lush greenery. I like the weeds to the left of the bird, but I'd crop some from the left.

Very nice Frank - excellent exposure and lovely setting. Agree with others that a little less on the left would improve

Nice looking natural scene with the habitat included. I like the pose with the open eye. Great job at 1200mm.
