    Default Snow Bunting II.

Rather similar to the Snow Bunting image I posted a couple of weeks ago, but I think I like this one more for the better pose, better perch, and bluish background.

Canon 7D + 500mm f/4 II + 1.4TC, manual exposure, evaluative metering, 1/1600s., f/7.1, ISO 800, natural light, handheld from inside car, FF, a few dark specks in the snow eliminated via "Spot Removal Tool", lightened iris via dodge tool. Flock lured to seeds below the snowbank.

Hi Dan, great wintery scene here, and you have nailed the overall exposure. The colours on the bunting pop nicely from the snow BG, and what a comfy pose he managed.

Super cute bird. Excellent IQ and composition. Love the snow perch and the hint of blue in the bg.
