    Default Canada Goose Portrait

I photographed this goose the other evening when we had a bit of nice light.
I don't usually take too many portraits--but the opportunity presented itself.

A very nice portrait, Bonnie. The head is very sharp and I like the curve of the neck and the placement of the bird in the frame. The green background is lovely - I wish the green extended into the two brown areas. Good detail in most of the whites, but the upper edge of the cheek patch looks hot on my monitor.

I agree with Steve about most everything here. Love the bit of grass in its mouth!

I must say that the placement in the frame is as good as it gets Bonnie
